How do I cancel my Martini subscription?
Short answer
Open Settings, then Billing, and click Cancel Subscription. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period — you keep your remaining subscription credits, and your wallet top-up credits remain in the account permanently. You can resubscribe at any time without losing your projects.
Cancel from the Billing page
Sign in, click your avatar in the top right, and choose Settings. In the left sidebar select Billing. The page shows your current plan, renewal date, and credit balances. Click Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the plan card. You will see a confirmation screen with the date your access changes — confirm to finalize the cancellation.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, not immediately. You retain full plan access — including your subscription credit quota — until that date. Until then nothing else changes. After the period ends, the account moves to the free tier. There is no early termination penalty and no separate cancellation fee.
What happens to your credits and projects
Subscription credits stop refilling at the cycle end. Any unused subscription credits from the final billing period expire on that date. Wallet top-up credits do not expire — they remain in your account and can be spent on the free tier or after you resubscribe. Treat the cancel date as the deadline for using your remaining subscription quota.
Your projects, canvases, generations, uploads, and history are preserved. Nothing is deleted on cancellation. Files and projects remain accessible on the free tier with the standard free-tier limits applied. If you exceed the free-tier storage allowance after cancellation, you'll need to either resubscribe, buy a top-up to extend storage, or delete projects to fit within the limits.
How to resume or change plans
To resubscribe, return to Settings, Billing and pick a plan. The subscription credit quota begins refilling on the new billing date. Wallet credits you preserved through cancellation are still there and ready to spend.
If you'd rather change tier than cancel, click Change Plan instead of Cancel Subscription. Upgrades take effect immediately and prorate the new quota for the remainder of the cycle. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal date so you keep the higher tier credits you've already paid for.
Examples
- Cancel on the 5th of a billing cycle that renews on the 12th — full plan access until the 12th.
- You hold 1,500 unused subscription credits and 4,000 wallet credits at cancellation — the 1,500 expire at cycle end, the 4,000 remain.
- You resubscribe one week later — wallet credits unchanged, fresh subscription quota added.
- Workspace owner cancels — workspace subscription stops refilling at cycle end, member projects remain.
Edge cases
- If a downgrade or upgrade is scheduled for the next cycle, cancel that scheduled change first or it overrides the cancellation.
- Cancellation by a workspace owner ends the workspace plan; individual member personal subscriptions are unaffected.
- A failed payment that goes unresolved automatically downgrades the account to free at the cycle end without an explicit cancel.
What to do next
- Open Settings, Billing and click Cancel Subscription to start the flow.
- Spend remaining subscription credits before the cycle end — they don't roll over.
- Email support from the help icon if you cancelled by mistake and want the cancellation reversed.
- Read the refund-policy article if you're cancelling because of a billing issue.
