Canvas Basics
Master these operations to work more efficiently on the canvas.
Navigation
| Action | Method |
|---|---|
| Pan canvas | Hold Space + drag (Edit mode), middle mouse button drag, or trackpad two-finger scroll |
| Zoom canvas | Mouse wheel zoom, or trackpad pinch to zoom |
| Fit view | Click the Fit View button in the bottom right |
Adding Nodes
- Double-click empty space: Quickly add a node (opens node selection menu)
- Bottom toolbar: Click a node button (or drag it onto the canvas)
- Drag and drop files: Drag image/video/audio files directly onto the canvas to automatically create corresponding nodes
Selecting Nodes
| Action | Method |

| Single select | Click on a node |
| Multi-select | Hold ⇧ and click multiple nodes, or drag to select |
| Select all | ⌘/Ctrl+A |
Connecting Nodes
- Hover your mouse over the edge of a node to reveal ports (small dots)
- Drag from an output port to an input port on another node
- Release the mouse to complete the connection
💡 Not all nodes can be connected to each other. The system will automatically indicate valid connections.
Deleting
| Action | Method |
|---|---|
| Delete node | Select the node and press Delete/Backspace |
| Delete connection | Click on the connection to select it, then press Delete |
Undo / Redo
- Undo: ⌘/Ctrl+Z
- Redo (macOS): ⌘+⇧+Z
- Redo (Windows/Linux): Ctrl+Y
